DDRC Hyperbaric Chamber Operator Course

The DDRC Hyperbaric chamber operator course is available either in-house, using our own Centre, or at your own facility. Our extremely experienced staff are able to offer the following programme:

  • Health and Safety
  • Diving Physics and Mechanical Effects of Pressure on the Body
  • Chamber Construction, Layout and Support Machinery and Equipment
  • Chamber Operation Theory
  • Fire Safety and Accidents
  • Procedure and Documentation
  • Team Roles of Staff
  • General Patient Management
  • Treatment and Diving Tables
  • Pharmacology, Physiology, and Side-effects of Hyperbaric Oxygen

On completion of the course, DDRC are able to offer further help and advice as support if necessary.

Prerequisites/Entry Requirements

Chamber staff are usually from a variety of different backgrounds, including skilled technicians from other industries, qualified nurses, divers and some specially trained for the role.
Any enquiries concerning Hyperbaric Training will be welcomed. Courses can be designed around your own particular requirements.

Course Duration

  • 5 days, Mon - Fri, 08.30 - 16.30 over a period of 1 week
